Project Manager
About the role:
The Project Manager (PM) is a resource for the workstream’s delivery efforts. The PM exists to create and maintain a sense of cohesion, holding projects together and wrangling volunteers to help ensure that quality outcomes are delivered in agreed timeframes. The PM is also involved in liaising with the board sponsor and other board members as appropriate.
About you:
The ideal candidate is likely to have experience working in a professional and/or volunteer organisation, with the ability to successfully juggle a range of projects and groups of people. You don’t need to have been a PM before, as long as you resonate with the previous sentence. You will also need the ability to consistently invest a small amount of time (to keep up with projects as they evolve), and a passion for what Better Streets is trying to achieve.
Why the role matters:
By joining as a PM, you will make so many people’s lives easier and enhance Better Streets’ ability to execute on its vision. Your contribution will help projects run more smoothly with better outputs, the workstream team to be more efficient with their time and energy, and reduce admin burdens on the Executive Officer.
