Hours: 2 - 4 hrs / week
Purpose:
We are looking for a team of people to support our President and key coalition partners in developing and carrying out an advocacy strategy for our Better Streets to School campaign. We need people who can do one or all of the jobs below:

Key responsibilities & duties
- Develop internal advocacy strategy in collaboration with our coalition partners to coordinate key messaging and positioning.
- Write letters to set up meetings and write timely and accurate follow up emails to politicians and their staff. This will include providing resources and introductions.
- Attend meetings with key ministers and other politicians
- Research and write policy statements and fact sheets to communicate Better Streets’ position and key messages.
- Write policy related content for LinkedIn
- Coordinate interviews and appearances with mainstream media outlets.
- Work with nominated project manager/officer to coordinate team meetings and keep track of tasks
